Sometimes during a project you run into a car owner who goes above and beyond what you ask of them. George Bojaciuk had such an experience with the owner of the 1930 Model A Ford pictured below. He was a terrific guy who always stopped whatever he was doing to answer any questions George may have had in regards to the Ford.

The gentleman owned a restoration and parts shop in Northeast PA and was always cheerfully available for consultation. As a special thank you, George had his actual car recreated in 1:24 scale it was completely black. The only unfortunate thing in regards to this is that someone in marketing had spec'd the limited edition colors at the same time. When the samples arrived the interior came thru with the interior door trim recreated in green, which was incorrect for his automobile.

However, the error didn't matter to the car owner who loved the little car anyway. He asked if George would provide him with a letter of authenticity, which George was happy to do.

George believes he had the car, and letter on display in his shop the last time they spoke. There are only 6 of these models known to exist. So now you know about another one that got away.
