AAR Cuda

by George S. Bojaciuk

Long before Paul Kravchak was making his AARs, I had one made for a concept. It was painted in stunning Moulin Rouge with black accents. Mike Hanson was the builder and his work was simply outstanding.

AAR Cuda.

Many people who passed the office and saw this piece stopped dead in their tracks. I was always hunting down the catalog guy who would swipe the model to have it shot for a catalog! I had to explain that it wasn’t a product yet.

My plan was to have a 6 car rotating display similar to the Corvette All American Series, three cars on one side, and three on the reverse. The display would include 3 factory stock pony cars, the AAR, Boss 302 and Z/28. When you rotated the display, you had the racecars.

Mike was had just started the racecars when I was given the word to stop ALL concept development. Not only was I disappointed, so was Mike. He had done some extensive modifications to the models already and they were sweet! I believe Mike has completed these cars and if you ever see them on auction, do not hesitate to bid on them. Like I said, his work is impeccable.
