Long before Paul Kravchak was making his AARs,
I had one made for a concept. It was painted in stunning Moulin Rouge with
black accents. Mike Hanson was the builder and his work was simply outstanding. |

Many people who passed the office and saw this
piece stopped dead in their tracks. I was always hunting down the catalog
guy who would swipe the model to have it shot for a catalog! I had to explain
that it wasn’t a product yet. |

My plan was to have a 6 car rotating display
similar to the Corvette All American Series, three cars on one side, and
three on the reverse. The display would include 3 factory stock pony cars,
the AAR, Boss 302 and Z/28. When you rotated the display, you had the racecars. |

Mike was had just started the racecars when
I was given the word to stop ALL concept development. Not only was I disappointed,
so was Mike. He had done some extensive modifications to the models already
and they were sweet! I believe Mike has completed these cars and if you
ever see them on auction, do not hesitate to bid on them. Like I said,
his work is impeccable. |
