Great read. We have two Corvair Collector's in our area. During the summer you will see both collector's with one of their cars on the local roads and maybe a car show or two.

I have owned several first generation Corvairs, but none of the second generation cars. Thjey were fun cars that didn't mind marking their parking spots.
Interesting read. It really speaks to how little GM valued their legacy.

My wife's first car was a yellow 65 or 66 Monza coupe like #6000. She still talks about that car.

I canít remember ever driving one but who knows; there are lots of things I canít remember any more.
