It will cost 169,760 yen (U.S $1,556.36) and take 24 months to complete.
990 Yen x 1 month
3,990 Yen x 1 month
7,490 Yen x 22 months
Total amount 169,760 Yen

As far as I see the pictures on this website, the front nose section is separated into two parts, so I am concerned that the jointing portion of the parts will conspicuous.
Seen from the front, due to the inaccurate shape of the windshield and the rounded inclination of side windows this GT 40 looks like Mirage M1.
The details of the cockpit and the engine components, etc........ I feel that the model not carefully scaled down to the smallest detail. Until now, I have been buying a diecast model car with high quality as a finished model, with Danbury Mint as the lead, so this Ford GT 40 feel like a cheesy toy for kids.
This model is currently being sold in the euro area by Hachette (within the UK by Deagostini).

Love the Ford GT but this model would be a pass at any price.

Wow, a lot of money for a cheesy kid toy. DM did make outstanding models and they kept getting better. We all miss that company's line.
