Created from over 700 individual parts with many functional features such as turn signals that flash when the lever on the steering column is moved up or down. How about headlights that turn on with the push of a button and high beams that works with a floor switch. Then there is the cowl vent lever that is fully operational. Finally the brake lights illuminate when the brake pedal is depressed too.

Here is what Jay Engel had to say...

I know this model has been shown on this site previously but mine arrived today and it is absolutely SPECTACULAR!!!!

When I first heard MMJ&S were cooking another MM model, I was hoping for something very creative and wonderful. The previous '57 BelAir Convertible is a wonderful piece but the subject matter was, well, redundant. I got one anyway and am delighted with it... despite some of the glitches in the top material and operation.... it's still the benchmark model of thegreat 50's icon. Anyway, I was hoping for a '57 T-Bird... or a '64 Riviera (like the one I have in my garage).... but, no... it appered in the vision of a gleaming Ebony Black and Silver '57 Fuelie Vette. Ho Humm.... or so I thought...until today when a HUGE white box arrived in the arms of Jeff, my UPS guy, who, btw, is quite used to (i.e. "unimpressed") with his many deliveries to my door. This day, however, he decided to stick around 'til I opened the box..... what we found inside was an absolutely glorious revelation. We were both shocked; I was thrilled beyond words!!!

Everything about this model is beyond perfection. Open the hood to see the fabulous (it is FABULOUS; that's the only word for it) replication of the renown 283 CID FuelInjected V8, The Rochester F.I. is mimmicked right down to the last spark plug wire , warning decal, Corvette Crossed Flag logos, and labels. The dipstick and oil filter are removeable and replaceable... something you'll probably do once...the rear wheels turn the fan and the radiator. The fuel lines mimmick every end and turn of the originals and really sets off the authenticity of this hallowed iconic 8 cylinder wonder. The hood rises majestically on fully articulated frontmounted hinges which are exact in every facet to the originals.

As you would expect, litereally everything works... and does so in an absolutely flawless manner! The windows wind up and down almost effortlessly and the fit with either the raised convertible top or the very classy black hardtop is tighter than an gnat's eylash! The top, now made of a more pliant and realistic material than the BelAir's, works extremely wel what with its intricate mirror image (to the original) framework.

The bright red interior will bring smiles just ecause if its brilliant hue... ut the real smiles start when you realize the gearshift actually funtions as a 4 speed, the central, between the seats, storage compartment opens up (I never even knew that feature even existed!!), and the chrome lever under the dash, just behind the gearshift, actually opens the cowl vent. The wheel covers are easily installed (and removed) thanks to the use discreet magnets inside and on tthe wheel hubs. The suspension is not only compliant but... you guessed it, an exact duplicate of the original in nearly every way! The list of features on this wonderful diecast confection is seemingly endless; the car does everything the 1:1 does but turn over and run away!!!

The creative factor I was looking for is here... but in a depth I wasn't prepared for. This model is one of those that, if you can deal with the $500 pricetag, is an absolute must have!!!
