Considered to be a personal luxury car, it’s easy to see why by viewing the stunning images of the Automodello lineup. The flagship of the Automodello Riviera would be the Alpine Blue pictured above; this is the largest run in this series, limited to 299 worldwide, with a sticker price of $299.95.

The '65 Buick Riviera, finished in Alpine Blue, is one of the most admired colors on this automobile, considered by most as the color that defines this automobile. The finish on the Automodello replica is glass like, realistic shut lines and a mind boggling interior which allows you the thrill of sitting in a '65 Buick coming off the showroom floor.

For me the Buick finished in Flame Red and sporting the Black Vinyl Top really rings my bell; it just pops, no it screams look at me. The Automodello 1965 Buick Riviera is a real looker that will surely be a standout in any collection. What do I like about this one you ask? Are you kidding me, what's not to like, the color combination, the stunning black interior, simply put it's gorgeous lines; it is a sexy automobile, it was then, it is now. Automodello list the Flame Red replica as a member of their Enthusiasts Edition which is limited to 19 units and has a retail price of $465.95.

Another winner in this line up is the Burgundy Mist replica; it too is a member of the Enthusiasts Edition and limited to 19 units worldwide, sporting a retail price of $465.95. In my opinion the Burgundy Mist replica is a top choicecolor wise for me; it is so rich looking and a color which I vividly remember.

The 1965 Buick Riviera made you take notice when it drove down the street, it defined the future of luxury cars, and there were only two automobiles in 1965 which sported hidden headlights, the Riviera and Corvette. Also, what made this automobile standout were the tail-lights, they were moved into the rear bumper which gave this automobile a truly futuristic look, I took notice of it and I liked what I saw.

If luxury is what you want then look no further as nothing screams luxury like a shiny black automobile. Automodello has continued the tradition of a black replica in their line-up called "Homage". The Regal Black '65 Buick Riviera, in the Homage Edition, is limited to 24 units and sports a sticker price of $449.95

The lineup continues with a few more desirable colors such as the Artic White which happens to be in the Enthusiasts Edition and limited to 19 units, retailing for $465.95. Another model which is high on my list of must haves.

The Automodello Riviera finished in Sierra Mist is a member of the Tribute Edition and limited to 50 units, retailing for $365.95, a gorgeous color with a stunning interior to compliment the finished product.

And rounding up this impressive lineup is the Automodello Riviera Gran Sport in Verde Green, also a member of the Tribute Edition, retailing for $365.95, limited to 50 units worldwide.

As I opened box after box to photograph these models I became more excited as the colors just popped, they are all gorgeous and very well executed, the one that made me smile was the Verde Green, the color was so rich the metallic so pronounced it was just right, then I opened the next box and was even more impressed. You see this wasn't an easy job for me, I have been asked by members of JSS to pick just one, I can't; they are all gorgeous.

All these models include an antenna, which I didn't place on any of these models to photograph. Why? I can simply photo-shop an antenna onto any image, I found the antenna difficult to get in that tiny little hole, not something I would attempt to do; I believe this model looks better with the antenna in the down position and that would be how I choose to display it.

In closing you won't go wrong purchasing any of these models; Automodello has a winner, your color choice will be defined by how deep your pockets are, they all display nicely.
