Posted - 05/06/2025 : 14:47:12 Wow...tax nailed you even then. Twenty-five years ago I worked in Doha, Qatar, and gas was about 50-cents per gallon at the time, no tax. Yes, full service stations cleaned your windshield. Shortly thereafter, moved to Canada and WOW, the tax on petrol. But the tax helped support healthcare, etc., so no complaints. I don't even think about the price of gas today, it is what it is and you gotta have it. Are we going to pay Tariffs on Canadian Oil, or Saudi oil here in the US? If I am not mistaken doesn't each state tax petrol differently. Wonder what State charged 3-cent tax on 2-cent gas?
